Board & Train Program
During our board and train program your dog will stay with us at the Rascal Ranch for a complete training immersion. This allows us to work intimately with your dog, teaching them structure, boundaries, and developing a solid communication system. We use every interaction with your dog as a training opportunity. Our program is open to dog of all breeds over the age of 12 weeks. Depending on the length of their stay, we will teach your dog on and off leash obedience including sit, down, go to bed (place), heel, recall (come/here), greeting manners, crate training impulse control, drop it. We are able to focus on other behaviors at the owners request ex. nail trims, door dashing, counter-surfing, loading up in the car, etc. Dogs practice all behaviors in a variety of environments with multiple field trips off property to hardware stores, farmers markets, and cafes.
Longer programs allow for behavior modification and we can work on behaviors such as; separation anxiety, general fear, resource guarding, and dog or people reactivity,
You can expect a custom training plan to fit your needs, multiple training sessions a day and multiple photo and video updates to you each week. At the end of the program we will go over all your dog’s new training with you to ensure a seamless transition back home and send you home with all the training tools that are necessary for continued success. Follow up support is included forever! Transportation to and from the ranch is available.
Examples of skills we work on that can be catered to your needs: Place/Go To Bed, Sit, Down, Stay, Walking on Leash, Recall/Here (come when called), Treadmill Conditioning, Threshold Manners, Reactivity, Barking, Counter-Surfing, Nipping, Jumping, Barking at Fence Line, and Impulse Control.

Structured Boarding
Peace of mind while you are away! Maintenance training is provided for all training graduates.

Field Days
A full day of fun and training at Rascal Ranch! Dogs will have fun in well matched social groups, train on behaviors that YOU are looking for help with, and have all the mental and physical enrichment they need. A great alternative to doggy daycare. Includes transportation to and from your home or a pre-arranged location.

Private Lessons
One on one training with Zoe at the ranch! Private lessons are generally between 60-90 minutes and cater to your dog and your training goals. For dogs that are looking for obedience training, not for dogs with behavioral issues.
